Configure MessageCopyForSentAsEnabled with Easy365Manager

To make sure emails sent as another identity is stored in the sent items folder of that identity, you need to configure MessageCopyForSentAsEnabled.

By default, this attribute is not set, but fortunately, there are several ways to configure it.

Configuring MessageCopyForSentAsEnabled Using AD Users & Computers

With Easy365Manager, you can configure this setting from user properties in Active Directory Users and Computers.

To ensure that all emails sent with Send As permissions are stored in the sent items folder of the mailbox, you only need to select the check box:

Click OK twice to apply the new setting.

Configuring MessageCopyForSentAsEnabled Using PowerShell

Another way to configure this option is to use the PowerShell command-line tool.

Connect to Exchange Online and use the following command to configure the mailbox to store a copy of Send As emails in the sent items folder of the mailbox:

Set-Mailbox app.mailbox@azure.skrubbeltrang.com -MessageCopyForSentAsEnabled $true
