Equipment Mailboxes Appear as Not Synced

Due to a bug in Easy365Manager 1.3.0 and earlier versions, equipment mailboxes may appear as not synchronized in the Azure Portal/Microsoft 365 Admin Center.

To see if this is caused by Easy365Manager please run the following script in your Active Directory:

Get-ADUser -LDAPFilter “(msExchRecipientTypeDetails=17173869184)”

If the script identifies any equipment mailboxes, correct them with the following script:

Get-ADUser -LDAPFilter “(msExchRecipientTypeDetails=17173869184)” | Set-ADUser -Replace @{msExchRecipientTypeDetails=”17179869184″}

After changing the property value, synchronize Azure AD Connect and wait a few minutes before the Azure AD object changes are synchronized.
